Waiting on Wednesday (3)
There's no blurb but I don't care because I'm so reading this book and I've made a list why. (I like making lists.)
1. It's about angels. SCARY angels.
2. The main character - Elena - is the epitome of kick ass, don't-take-shit character and I kinda love her.
3. The other main character - Raphael - is the Archangel who rules New York and he is SCARY. But oooh, boy, is he hot. So I kinda love him, too.
4. There's other angels and vampires and crazy-old, SCARY Archangels.
5. I can't say no. 5 without spoiling the first Guild Hunter book, Angels' Blood, for you and that is unacceptable. But if you have read it - it's about the surprising you-know-what Elena gets at the end of the book. How cool is that?!
6. Did I mention Raphael? Yes? Oh, okay.
7. The covers are awesome.
I could keep going but here's the gist of it: I need to read this book ASAP. Comes out February 2010 (According to Goodreads) although I wish it was coming out tomorrow!

I so love this cover. This series is so good so far. This world is so fascinating and I totally agree with this angels. Just thinking about them makes me purr!!!

Ooo angels! Sounds fab.
I had no idea that the name Elena lent itself so well to kicking ass - the main character in the Women of the Underworld series is named Elena, too.
I like this author so I'd better check out this series.
