In a world that denies emotions, where the ruling Psy punish any sign of desire, Sascha Duncan must conceal the feelings that brand her as flawed. To reveal them would be to sentence herself to the horror of "rehabilitation"- the complete psychic erasure of everything she ever was....
Both human and animal, Lucas Hunter is a Changeling hungry for the very sensations the Psy disdain. After centuries of uneasy co-existence, these two races are now on the verge of war over the brutal murders of several Changeling women. Lucas is determined to find the Psy killer who butchered his packmate, and Sascha is his ticket into their closely guarded society. But he soon discovers that this ice-cold Psy is very capable of passion-and that the animal in him is fascinated by her. Caught between their conflicting worlds, Lucas and Sascha must remain bound to their identities-or sacrifice everything for a taste of darkest temptation...

I was dared to read Slave to Sensation by my sweets Brooke after I double-dog dared her to read Angels' Blood. Damn. I should know by now that my plans always backfire on me! After I gracefully conceded (Yes, GRACEFULLY, Brooke. Shut it) I said bring it! and brought the book.

I'm sadden (okay, I'm not. Lucas is too yummylicious for that) to say that I really like Slave to Sensation! Lucas, the jaguar changeling, totally made the story for me. He was so earthy and raw and I kinda love him. My heart broke for poor Sascha being imprisoned by just being a psy. Psy do not feel emotions, not anger or sadness or happiness. Nothing. And now, she's breaking open with all sort of emotions that she's never experienced before and doesn't know how to deal with but Lucas is totally there to help her, heh. I totally loved the secondary characters, and the scenes about the two little pups made me turn into goo. Dorian and Hawke were my absolute favorite! What a bunch of hotties!

Slave to Sensation is a intense story about two unlikely people finding each other, emotions run high and it was a thrill ride to read.

And yes, I will be reading the next book in this series. Brooke, I hope you're happy, like I need MORE books on my wishlist!
